                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
                   SEWER EASEMENT FROM PHILIP B. WHITAKER, JR.
                   (TRUSTEE), RELATIVE TO CONTRACT NO. 40E-2,
                   STUART HEIGHTS PARALLEL FORCE MAIN II, TRACT
                   NO. 007, FOR A CONSIDERATION OF FORTY-ONE
                   THOUSAND DOLLARS ($41,000.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       purchase of a sewer easement from Philip B. Whitaker, Jr.
       (Trustee), relative to Contract No. 40E-2, Stuart Heights 
Parallel
       Force Main II, Tract No. 007, for a consideration of $41,000.00.
